The company is an active member of the Vinyl Council's PVC Product Stewardship Program; a program tasked with setting realistic timeframes for the delivery of key undertakings in production and storage , the safe use of additives, waste management, research and public reporting. Recycling of scrapped PVC material is a key plank of our goal to reduce the overall amount of waste generated from our products. Virtually all PVC scrapped during the manufacturing process can be re-used.
APP is also committed to partnerships with our customers and external providers whereby excess or damaged PVC pipe and fittings is recovered from building sites and returned for re-processing. APP has recylced over 200 tonne of PVC that has been recovered from these building sites.
